The Opportunity :
We are looking for a Compensation Specialist to join WSP Canada's HR team. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Total Rewards, you will help with compensation related matters for WSP Canada.
You will support HR managers and business partners on our compensation policies and practices in order to support business needs related to the company's strategy.
You will be involved on a variety of mandates and will work with stakeholders at different levels of the organization.

What you can expect to do here :
- Support managers and HR business partners on the application of various compensation programs and policies.
- Participate in the design and support of the annual salary review and payment process for short-term incentive program bonuses.
- Gather and analyze compensation data, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and data integrity.
- Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and outliers in compensation data.
- Conduct market data analysis and help make the necessary recommendations in order to be able to properly position the company's remuneration in relation to its reference markets.
- Prepare and generate reports, dashboards, and presentations to communicate compensation insights to stakeholders and senior management.
- Participate in the design, development and revision of remuneration policies such as salary structures, conditions of employment, wage management, short-term incentive compensation programmes, etc.
- Collaborate on the pay equity maintenance exercises.
- Act as a resource person for the HR community with respect to compensation matters.
- Participate in compensation surveys and other studies related to its field of expertise.
- As required, participate in different projects related to total compensation.
What you'll bring to WSP :
- Bachelor's degree in Administration, Human Resources or other related fields;
- 3 to 5 years of experience in compensation;
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
- Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization, in both English and French;
- High capacity to work in teams and to demonstrate autonomy;
- Skill with HR systems with an advanced level in Excel;
- A strong sense of organization, the ability to carry out multiple tasks simultaneously and to remain productive and efficient in a rapidly changing environment with sometimes competing priorities;
- Compensation accreditation, an asset;
