Position Overview :
We are currently seeking a Senior Mainframe Security Architect (ACF2 and RACF) to join our global IT infrastructure consulting client in the Montreal area on a long term engagement with one of their clients in the finance domain.
Responsibilities
Work with client, sales, proposal managers and vendors to architect solutions
Will be able to act as a bridge between the client and Sales, Proposal Managers, Project Managers, System Programmers and Infrastructure Specialists
Work with Mainframe system programmers and Project Managers and client to deliver architected solutions
Document solutions including roadmaps, design documents, diagrams and project plans, using relevant documentation tools including Word, Visio, MS Project and / or PowerPoint
Work closely with various teams to gather business and technical requirements
Perform and Balance tasks on multiple concurrent projects across multiple customers
Mediate and manage architectural conditions including those that are contractually required
Educate, mentor and coach teams in applying architectural techniques
Accurately document technical artifacts
SMP / E and system utilities, ACF2, RACF, IO Gen (HCD), Assembler Language knowledge and ability to develop, maintain and deploy Assembler code, BMC & IBM Scheduler software, TSO, ISPF, understanding of problem & change, management (eESM experience is an asset), Install and support program products, installing simple to complex (tape management, job scheduling) products, JES2 and JES3 advance skills
Must Have
Mainframe Security System ACF2 & RACF SME / Architect
5+ years experience as a z / OS System Programmer
SMP / E and system utilities, ACF2, RACF, IO Gen (HCD), Assembler Language knowledge
Understand of SYSPLEX concepts, familiarity with CPU keys (ordering, applying), experience working with vendors'
