Corporate Controller

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Corporate Controller for a permanent opportunity with a growing public software company. This management-level role is ideal for a CPA-designated finance leader with deep IFRS reporting experience, strong public-company controllership expertise, and a track record of supporting acquisitive, multi-entity organizations.

Reporting to the CFO, the Corporate Controller will lead corporate accounting, consolidated financial reporting, technical accounting, internal controls, tax oversight, and treasury. This is a high-impact leadership opportunity with direct exposure to executive leadership, Audit Committee materials, acquisition activity, and finance transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead quarterly and annual IFRS reporting, including consolidated financial statements, MD&A, and Audit Committee materials.
- Own the consolidated close process across domestic and international entities, including intercompany activity, foreign currency, and multi-entity reporting.
- Lead technical accounting for software revenue recognition, business combinations, impairment, share-based compensation, and other complex transactions.
- Serve as the primary contact for the external audit and oversee statutory audits across multiple jurisdictions.
- Strengthen internal controls over financial reporting and support CEO and CFO certifications for a Canadian public company.
- Oversee tax provisions, compliance, treasury activities, cash forecasting, banking relationships, covenant reporting, acquisition accounting, and integration of newly acquired businesses.

Compensation and Benefits

- Salary range: $165,000 to $190,000 per year.
