Site Supervisor - Greater Toronto Area

We are rapidly evolving our business, and we are looking for a seasoned and motivated Security Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day operations of our client in GTA.

This role is an exciting opportunity to lead a highly skilled, professional Security team.

Key Responsibilities :

• Supervise and coordinate security staff activities to maintain a safe and secure environment within the commercial tower.
• Train and mentor guards on site duties and protocols, as well as site conduct, deportment, reporting procedures, and company policy / procedures.
• Respond to emergency or urgent site situations, evaluate, and recommend or initiate appropriate action, secure the site as necessary, liaise / co-ordinate with applicable law, fire, medical or site officials, ensure that post orders are adhered to and confirm / ensure the safety of Securiguard personnel and our clients.
• Implement and enforce security policies and procedures to safeguard assets and mitigate risks.
• Provide leadership and support to security personnel, including training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
• Liaise with tenants, building management, and law enforcement agencies as necessary to address security concerns and maintain effective communication channels.
• Prepare incident reports and documentation, ensuring accuracy and completeness of all security-related records.

Skills / Qualifications :

• Valid Security Guard License and First Aid CPR
• Must have at least 1-2 years supervisor experience, in addition to security experience.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with a diverse range of individuals.
• Should be able and willing to work / commute to GTA.
• Knowledge of Trespass to Property Act (TPA), Canada Criminal Code and 494(c)
• Proficiency in using security equipment and technology, including CCTV systems and access control systems.
• Demonstrated attributes in supervision, decision making, organizing, problem solving, analytical skill, interpersonal sensitivity and tolerance are required.
• Basic computer skills required.

Pay Rate : $19.38 per hour.

Schedule : Monday to Friday, 0800-1600
