As a Data Solutions Engineer, you will design, build, and support data-centric solutions that connect business needs with technical delivery. You will work with architects, business stakeholders, project teams, and vendors to deliver reliable integrations, reporting, applications, and automations.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements, improve processes, and translate business needs into effective solutions.
  • Design, build, and support data integrations using APIs, flat files, automation tools, and enterprise platforms.
  • Structure, validate, and reconcile data to support reporting, analytics, operational decisions, and reliable downstream processes.
  • Design, build, and enhance Power BI reports, dashboards, and supporting data models.
  • Develop and maintain solutions, applications, and automations using enterprise and low-code platforms such as Microsoft Power Platform.
  • Test, deploy, troubleshoot, and manage solution changes using established version control, release, security, and delivery standards.
  • Use AI-assisted tools responsibly to accelerate analysis, development, and documentation while validating and testing generated output.
  • Document solutions and support procedures to enable ongoing support, continuous improvement, and knowledge transfer.

Qualifications

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • Post-secondary education in information systems, computer science, data analytics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3–5 years of experience in data integration, reporting, business systems, or solution development.
  • Experience with data integration, ETL, APIs, Power BI reporting, data modelling, data mapping, and data analysis.
  • Understanding of relational, cloud, and application data platforms such as Azure SQL, SQL Server, Dataverse, and Azure Storage.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Power Platform, Microsoft Fabric, Azure, or similar enterprise data platforms, with the ability to learn new technologies quickly.
  • Understanding of software development, agile delivery, data security, privacy, access control, and responsible use of AI-assisted development tools.
  • Strong communication, analytical, problem-solving, and requirements-gathering skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to take ownership, manage changing priorities, meet deadlines, and work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
