Application Analyst - Intermediate - HYBRID

Our Edmonton client is seeking an experienced C# Application System Analyst for an initial 8-month contract to support vital public sector enterprise initiatives. In this hybrid role, you will translate key business requirements into high quality software solutions while collaborating closely with technical teams and operational stakeholders. Responsibilities
Write clean application code using C# and Visual Studio to implement core business logic
• Design and maintain relational databases using MS-SQL, including data modeling and stored procedures
• Gather and analyze detailed functional requirements directly from business stakeholders and operational teams
• Produce technical designs, system architecture documentation, and reference manuals for enterprise solutions
• Conduct comprehensive unit, system, and integration testing to ensure software reliability
• Troubleshoot application issues, isolate root causes, and implement effective technical resolutions
• Coordinate release schedules and software deployments in alignment with established release strategies

Qualifications
• At least five years of experience as an Application Developer within large enterprise IT environments
• At least five years of hands-on experience developing software solutions with C# and Visual Studio
• At least five years of experience designing MS-SQL databases, data models, and stored procedures
• At least five years of direct experience gathering and validating requirements with business end-users
• Demonstrated experience with Agile delivery frameworks, GitHub version control, and automated testing tools
