Adecco is currently hiring a full-time Production Operator for an opportunity in a manufacturing environment in Ottawa, ON. This role is ideal for individuals with experience in machine operation, manufacturing, production, assembly, quality inspection, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement.
As a Production Operator, you will be responsible for operating specialized production equipment, monitoring product quality, troubleshooting process issues, and supporting team performance to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality production.
Pay Rate: $50000/year
Location: Ottawa, ON
Shift: 4x4 12-hour shifts (4 days on, 4 days off) | Day 6:30 AM - 6:30 PM

Responsibilities:
Operate, monitor, and adjust production equipment to meet quality and productivity standards.
Perform machine setups, material changeovers, and basic equipment adjustments.
Assemble raw materials and prepare products for production runs.
Conduct visual inspections, product testing, and quality checks throughout the manufacturing process.
Troubleshoot equipment, material, and process issues, escalating concerns when required.
Complete production records and documentation in accordance with GMP requirements.
Train and support new operators while promoting teamwork and continuous improvement.
Assist with coordinating daily activities and production priorities as needed.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
Follow all GMP, quality, environmental, health, and safety procedures.
Qualifications and Skills:
High School Diploma or equivalent required (Canadian education or WES equivalency verification required).
Ability to successfully pass a criminal background check.
Previous experience operating manufacturing or production equipment.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Experience working in a regulated manufacturing environment is an asset.
Ability to read, understand, and follow work instructions and procedures.
Strong attention to detail and quality.
Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Experience training or mentoring other employees is considered an asset.
Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
