Tech Lead - AI, Power Platform

Our client, is seeking an experienced, highly innovative Tech Lead - AI & Power Platform (Full-Stack / AWS Bedrock Specialist) to direct the end-to-end development of AI-powered web applications and intelligent agent workflows.

In this hands-on technical leadership role, you will architect, build, and deploy production-grade full-stack web applications from front-end user interfaces through to backend APIs and cloud infrastructure. You will focus on designing and deploying Large Language Model (LLM) agents on Amazon Bedrock, orchestrating tool/function-calling integrations, and connecting applications to enterprise data sources, Power Platform solutions, and cloud services. Working in an AI-assisted development environment, you will establish cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), build automated CI/CD pipelines, and guide architectural standards across front-end, back-end, and generative AI features.

Duration: 6-Month Contract (with high potential for extension)

Responsibilities
Full-Stack Application Development: Build responsive front-end interfaces and server-side logic using React, Next.js (SSR/API routes), and TypeScript/JavaScript.

Amazon Bedrock AI Agent Engineering: Design, build, and deploy LLM-powered agents on Amazon Bedrock, incorporating tool/function-calling capabilities, knowledge base integrations, and multi-step orchestration workflows.

API Architecture & Integration: Design and implement secure RESTful and GraphQL APIs connecting user-facing web applications to backend data pipelines and AI processing engines.

Cloud Infrastructure & IaC: Author, maintain, and deploy cloud infrastructure templates using AWS CloudFormation (or equivalent IaC tools) supporting services like ECS/Fargate, API Gateway, Cognito, Aurora/RDS, and S3.

CI/CD & DevOps Automation: Configure and maintain automated CI/CD delivery pipelines (GitHub Actions, AWS CodePipeline) to ensure seamless application deployment.

User Workflow & Reporting Tools: Construct user-facing dashboards, interactive analytics views, and automated reporting workflows integrated with Power Platform and cloud databases.



Qualifications
Full-Stack Engineering Experience: Proven expertise building and deploying production-level web applications using React, Next.js, TypeScript, and JavaScript.

Amazon Bedrock & LLM Integration: Hands-on experience developing LLM agents, agent orchestration, and tool/function-calling architectures on Amazon Bedrock (or direct API integrations with frontier models like Claude).

AWS Cloud Infrastructure Depth: Demonstrated capability setting up and running production workloads on AWS (ECS/Fargate, API Gateway, Cognito, Aurora/RDS, S3).

Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) & DevOps: Practical experience writing and managing CloudFormation templates and establishing automated CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, AWS CodePipeline).

API Design & Power Platform Integration: Deep experience in API creation, microservices architecture, and connecting cloud applications to enterprise data platforms, including Microsoft Power Platform.

Modern AI Tooling: Experience developing within AI-assisted coding environments (e.g., Kiro, VS Code with AI extensions).

Preferred Assets & Nice-to-Haves
Direct experience integrating with external LLM APIs and prompt engineering frameworks.

Experience building enterprise Power Apps, Power Automate flows, or Power BI reporting tools.
