The CommonCluster Solutions Branch focuses on services that support bothministries and all branches within the cluster. CCS also providesbusiness intelligence data analysis and other KPI reporting onimportant areas of business operations to our partners and thecluster.

These services include Business Intelligence (BI) whichconsists of performance reporting analytics and consulting servicesand includes offering selfservice tools to enable and empower ourbusiness partners to make informed decisions for their daytodaybusinessoperations.

Theresource would be engaged on a number of discrete projects thathave been approved by ministry program areas as key prioritiesincluding :

• SOLGENPrivate Security & Investigation Services Branch (PSISB) todevelop Compliance Enforcement reporting Phase1
• SOLGENPrivate Security & Investigation Services Branch (PSISB) todevelop Compliance Enforcement reporting Phase2
• SOLGENAnimal Welfare Services (AWS) critical operationalreporting
• ModernizedUse of Forcereporting;
• Inventoryof Mental Health Programsreporting;
• eRosterreporting;
• CSOIInvestigationsReporting
• Inaddition other Microsoft Power BI work is ongoing within the Branchand resources may be required to assist in other Power BIdevelopment work involved in theunit.

Requirements

Deliverables :

• Designprototypes of business intelligence solutions (dashboards andreports)
• Undertakespecial assignments / subprojects asassigned.
• Assessevaluate and document stakeholder interests.
• Conductbusiness requirement sessions and document options andoutcomes.
• Prepareand document data analysis findings and datadictionaries.
• Participatein problem analysis and identify opportunities where businessintelligence and advanced analytics can be used to support projectand / or programobjectives.
• Serveas a data analytics subject matter expert on interdisciplinaryproject teams and / or as an adhoc advisor to deliver data analyticsexpertise andadvice.
• Conductperiodic reviews of developed analytical solutions to identifyopportunities for enhancements orevolution.
• Researchprepare and document issues related to data collection andreportingrequirements.
• Planprepare and deliver demo and training sessions on new BusinessIntelligence dashboards and reports to all levels of usercommunity.
• Ensurealignment and adherence to IT processes andstandards.
• Participatein development and UAT testing and documentresults.
• Participatein Knowledgetransfer.

Skills andKnowledge :

• Provenexperience as a Data Analyst in building Business Intelligencereports anddashboards
• Provenexperience in understanding capturing and analyzing complex andsometimes competing business requirements to develop Power BI andBusiness Intelligenceproducts
• Demonstratedexperience with Power BI SQL Query and / or other data querytools
• Demonstratedknowledge and experience of Microsoft Power BI service
• Provendemonstratable experience in data visualization; working with BIimplementationmethodologies
• Knowledgeof data analysis datamanagement
• Provenability to partner with internal / external stakeholders and liaisewith technical experts and nontechnicalcolleagues
• Excellentverbal and written communication skills interpersonal andfacilitation skills
• Strongwritten presentation and interpersonal communication skills withspecial attention to correct use of tense grammar / spelling andterminology
• Demonstratedeffective time management and organizational skills including theability to plan and prioritize workload ensuring timelines are metand respond to demands of a dynamicenvironment
• MandatoryRequirements : At least 5 years ofexperience
• Allroles procured are required to be cleared through the ContractorSecurity Clearance Process of the OPS.
• SecurityClearance process levels roles etc. are subject to change withoutprior notice. Candidates may be required to undergo revised / newprocess (or levels) any time prior or during the term of thecontract.

MandatoryRequirements :

• Abilityto examine understand and present requirements data and informationin a cohesive manner using various tools including TOAD SQL ServerManagement Studio Visio Powerpoint Miro Mermaid.jsExcel
• Abilityto Lead and advise on data compatibility and recommend solutions.
• Superiorknowledge of the Microsoft 365 Office suite and Microsoft Azureecosystem
• Experiencein database transition to work between platforms and managemultiple stages of projects from initiation to testing todelivery
• Abilityto liaise and provide reporting information assessment and datainterpretation to others
