Beyond that, we offer thoughtfully crafted restaurants, retail, and transportation services that help our guests immerse themselves fully in the experience. About this Role

The Senior Director, Revenue Performance is the senior commercial leader responsible for maximizing top-line revenue growth and long-term enterprise value across multiple destinations and business lines for their respective geography. This role provides strategic leadership to deliver and exceed revenue objectives by aligning business priorities, leveraging cross-functional expertise, and ensuring commercial decisions drive sustainable financial performance. Working in partnership with Operations, Executive Leadership, and Commercial teams, the Senior Director develops and executes integrated commercial strategies that optimize demand, pricing, distribution, sales, marketing, reservations, and guest acquisition. Rather than owning every commercial function directly, this leader brings together the right people, resources, data, and expertise to ensure the organization consistently makes the best commercial decisions. Success in this role is measured by the ability to build high-performing teams, foster strong cross-functional collaboration, anticipate changing market conditions, and translate business strategy into commercial action that delivers both immediate results and long-term growth. The Senior Director creates organizational alignment, establishes clear priorities for his or her team, removes barriers to execution, and develops the commercial capabilities required to outperform revenue goals today while positioning the business for continued success in the future.

Commercial Leadership & Revenue Accountability

Own enterprise top-line revenue performance by translating commercial strategy into coordinated execution across destinations, business lines, and commercial functions. Lead the prioritization and execution of commercial initiatives that maximize enterprise revenue, profitability, market share, and long-term enterprise value. Create operating alignment across Revenue Management, Sales, Marketing, Distribution, Integrated Communications, Central Reservations, Guest Insights & Commercial Analytics, Digital, and Operations by ensuring priorities, timelines, and execution plans are clearly understood and consistently communicated. Establish clear commercial priorities and decision frameworks that balance enterprise objectives with destination-specific opportunities, proactively communicating trade-offs and rationale to build understanding and organizational alignment. Drive accountability through disciplined planning, regular performance reviews, and follow-through, ensuring commercial initiatives are executed with speed, consistency, and measurable business impact.

Executive Leadership & Organizational Alignment

Serve as the primary commercial partner to Operations, Executive Leadership, Finance, Technology, LOB Leadership, and Support Services, ensuring commercial strategies are practical, executable, and operationally aligned. Lead through influence by facilitating productive dialogue, incorporating diverse perspectives, and aligning stakeholders around enterprise priorities—even when competing interests require difficult decisions. Build trust through transparent, proactive communication that clearly explains business priorities, strategic trade-offs, expected outcomes, and changes in direction. Anticipate and resolve cross-functional conflicts, removing barriers that impede execution while maintaining focus on enterprise objectives over functional preferences. Foster a high-performance culture grounded in accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement, and shared ownership of commercial results. Develop and mentor commercial leaders while strengthening cross-functional capabilities and succession across the commercial organization.

Commercial Strategy & Business Performance

Lead integrated commercial planning across pricing, inventory, distribution, demand generation, sales, marketing, customer acquisition, and guest experience. Partner closely with Operations to ensure commercial strategies are executable at the property level and operational realities are incorporated into planning and decision-making. Leverage market intelligence, guest insights, competitive trends, and performance analytics to identify opportunities, adjust priorities, and recommend actions that maximize enterprise revenue. Partner with Finance and Operations to lead forecasting, budgeting, annual planning, and long-range commercial planning, ensuring alignment between commercial objectives and operational execution. Continuously evaluate commercial performance and rapidly adjust priorities, resources, and strategies in response to changing market conditions and business performance.

Performance Management & Decision Support

Establish and monitor enterprise commercial performance indicators that provide clear visibility into revenue growth, profitability, market share, demand generation, conversion, and forecast accuracy. Translate complex business performance into concise, actionable recommendations that enable executive leaders to make informed, timely decisions. Ensure commercial reporting and communications clearly articulate not only what is happening, but why it is happening, the recommended course of action, and expected business outcomes. Drive forecasting discipline and improve organizational understanding of commercial performance through consistent, data-driven storytelling.

Commercial Excellence & Innovation

Champion operational excellence across commercial processes by improving governance, communication, technology adoption, analytics, and execution disciplines. Provide strategic oversight of commercial systems—including RMS, PMS, CRS, CRM platforms, digital booking platforms, and reporting tools—to improve decision-making, efficiency, and commercial effectiveness. Identify opportunities to simplify processes, automate workflows, improve reporting, and strengthen commercial capabilities across the enterprise. Lead the commercial integration of acquisitions, renovations, new product launches, and enterprise initiatives by coordinating cross-functional execution plans and ensuring alignment across stakeholders. Business Growth & External Partnerships: Identify and evaluate new revenue opportunities, partnerships, products, channels, and market segments that support sustainable enterprise growth. Collaborate with Operations and commercial leaders to ensure growth initiatives are financially sound, operationally executable, and aligned with enterprise priorities. Represent Pursuit with industry partners, destination organizations, and strategic commercial relationships while strengthening the company's market position. Monitor industry trends, competitive activity, consumer behavior, and emerging technologies to recommend innovations that enhance revenue performance and create sustainable competitive advantage.

Enterprise Commercial Governance

Establish a consistent commercial operating cadence that aligns Commercial, Operations, and Finance through recurring planning sessions, performance reviews, and prioritization discussions. Facilitate enterprise decision-making by clearly communicating commercial recommendations, expected outcomes, associated risks, and business trade-offs. Ensure competing commercial initiatives are prioritized based on enterprise value, resource availability, and operational feasibility rather than functional preferences. Build organizational understanding and commitment through transparent communication, recognizing that effective commercial leadership requires difficult decisions while maintaining credibility and trust across the organization.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or related field; MBA or relevant master’s preferred. 8+ years of progressive commercial (e.g., revenue management, pricing, distribution, sales, or commercial strategy) with multi-product accountability and a track record of sustained revenue and profit growth. Demonstrated success leading cross-functional teams and influencing executive and operational stakeholders across Operations, Finance, Technology, and core Commercial disciplines, often without direct reporting lines. Strong financial and analytical acumen, including forecasting, pricing strategy, budgeting, and business planning, with the ability to translate complex performance data into clear, actionable recommendations. Experience leading large-scale strategic initiatives and organizational change in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment; exceptional executive communication and presentation skills. Ability to travel as business needs require.

Core Competencies

  • Enterprise Commercial Leadership & Executive Decision-Making: Sets clear commercial priorities, makes disciplined trade-off decisions across destinations and lines of business, and holds teams accountable for revenue and profit outcomes.
  • Strategic, Financial & Market Acumen: Connects customer, market, and competitive insights with operational realities to shape long-term commercial strategy; applies strong financial and analytical rigor to pricing, forecasting, budgeting, and portfolio optimization.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership & Influence: Aligns Operations, Revenue Management, Sales, Marketing, Distribution, Digital, and Finance around shared goals; drives results primarily through influence and governance rather than direct ownership of all functions.
  • Data-Driven Storytelling & Executive Communication: Synthesizes complex performance data into concise narratives, recommendations, and clear action plans tailored to executive, functional, and field audiences.
  • Change Leadership & Talent Development: Leads commercial transformation and adoption of new processes, tools, and operating rhythms while building high-performing teams, developing leaders, and strengthening succession across revenue teams.

Role Impact

The Senior Director, Revenue Performance is accountable for delivering sustainable top-line revenue growth by ensuring every commercial discipline operates with a shared strategy, common priorities, and clear accountability. Success in this role comes not from being the functional expert in every area, but from aligning the expertise of Revenue Management, Sales, Marketing, Distribution, Reservations, Commercial Analytics, and Operations to make the best commercial decisions for the business. By bringing together the right people, insights, and resources, this leader creates organizational alignment, accelerates execution, and positions Pursuit to consistently achieve—and exceed—its revenue objectives today while building the commercial capabilities required for long-term success. This role is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional to leverage their expertise in revenue management and leadership to make a significant impact on regional growth and success.
