Job description
$75000 $85000 a year - Office Full-timeFlynn Group of Companies is seeking a Roofing Service Account Managerto join ourOttawa branch. This is a relationship-driven client-facing role ideal for someone who thrives in sales enjoys building long-term partnerships and wants to grow their career in a dynamic construction and service environment. This position is Monday-Friday (7:30 AM 4:30 PM) with flexibility required to support client needs.

A Day in the Life

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients
  • Actively generate new business
  • Conduct frequent client meetings site visits and presentations
  • Attend local networking and industry events
  • Identify client needs and recommend roofing service solutions
  • Prepare and present estimates proposals and service solutions
  • Review drawings blueprints and specifications
  • Follow up on quotes tenders and opportunities to close business
  • Collaborate with local and national teams to support key accounts
  • Support light project management and coordination of service work
  • Manage a flexible schedule that supports ongoing relationship-building and business development

Requirements

  • Proven experience in sales account management or business development
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities
  • Sales mindset with the drive to grow business and meet targets
  • Ability to understand construction drawings/specifications
  • Customer-focused with a high level of responsiveness
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced client-facing environment
  • Experience in construction or roofing industry (preferred)
  • Valid drivers license and access to a personal vehicle
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check
