Document Preparation Clerk for a full-time opportunity in Ottawa, ON. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing, sorting, scanning, and processing physical documents while ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with established procedures.
- Pay Rate: $17.60 per hour
- Location: Ottawa, ON
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
- Employment Type: Full-Time with Temp-to-Perm Potential

Responsibilities- Open and sort incoming documents and mail into designated categories.
- Prepare documents and shipments for processing and distribution.
- Perform accurate data entry and maintain electronic records.
- Scan, organize, and sort documents according to established procedures.
- Sort, open, and flatten incoming mail to prepare for digitization and processing.
- Maintain document integrity and ensure records are processed accurately and efficiently.
- Perform quality checks to ensure all documents are complete, legible, and properly categorized.
- Handle confidential and sensitive information in accordance with company policies and security requirements.
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet productivity and accuracy targets.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Qualifications- Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.
- Must hold an active Reliability Status security clearance or be eligible to obtain one.
- Typing speed must be 6,000 keystrokes per hour or higher.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Physically capable of lifting and moving boxes weighing up to 12 kg.
- Comfortable working on a computer for extended periods.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Previous experience in records management is considered a strong asset.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills.
- Ability to manage confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
