Director of Sales (Hybrid)
About the Role :
H.M.S. Careers Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Director of Sales to oversee the sales and marketing efforts for our premier meeting facility in Eastern Ontario.
Reporting to the General Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of sales professionals and driving revenue growth through effective sales strategies and exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement comprehensive sales and marketing strategies to achieve revenue targets.
- Lead and manage a team of sales professionals, providing guidance, training, and support.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and industry partners.
- Negotiate contracts and manage the sales process from lead generation to closing.
- Analyze market trends and competitive landscape to identify growth opportunities.
- Collaborate with operations teams to ensure seamless execution of events and services.
- Manage sales and marketing budgets and track performance against key metrics.
Qualifications :
- Proven track record in sales leadership within the hospitality industry.
- Canadian citizen or permanent resident with extensive experience in the Canadian hospitality market.
- Strong understanding of sales and marketing principles and techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lead and motivate a team.
- Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor's degree in hospitality management or related field preferred.
- Bilingualism (English and French) is a plus.
- Flexibility to work in a hybrid work environment.
