Job description

Harbor is seeking a Legal Conflicts Analyst Contractor to support conflict-related projects within the Research & Intelligence (R+I) team. Harbor’s R+I team delivers research, intelligence, and conflicts services that support informed decision-making across our client base. In this role, the Conflicts Contractor provides foundational operational support on a contractual basis by completing defined conflicts-related research and diligence tasks that contribute to accurate and timely conflict checks.


This position supports conflicts work associated with activities such as new business intake and personnel changes and operates under established client protocols and internal standards. The role is well suited to individuals who are comfortable working within structured processes and demonstrate care and consistency in execution. Training and ongoing guidance are provided.


This is a 100% remote position for candidates located in the United States, United Kingdom or Canada. This is a project-based role that is dependent on client work. You will be working as a contractor and will be consulted as to availability, schedule and duration at the start of each project.





Responsibilities:




Conflicts Support:





  • Support conflict-checking activities related to new business intake, lateral hires, and other client-driven conflicts projects;

  • Complete assigned conflicts-related review and data maintenance tasks in accordance with documented client protocols;

  • Enter, update, and validate information in conflicts and related systems to ensure accuracy and completeness;

  • Review records and system outputs for consistency and alignment with provided instructions;

  • Identify incomplete, inconsistent, or unclear information and escalate findings to senior team members




Workflow & Operational Support:





  • Apply established procedures, standards, and training materials consistently across assigned tasks;

  • Incorporate guidance and feedback from team leads to improve accuracy and consistency;

  • Adhere to confidentiality, data protection, and information security requirements;

  • Manage assigned workload to meet deadlines and productivity expectations;

  • Participate in required training sessions and team meetings




Qualifications:





  • Some college coursework or higher education experience;

  • Demonstrated ability to perform structured, accuracy-driven tasks consistently;

  • Experience working with CRM, database, or workflow-based systems (training provided if not);

  • Ability to work independently while following established direction and priorities;

  • Reliable high-speed internet connection suitable for remote work
