Job Description:
This role is responsible for configuring and enhancing the ServiceNow platform with a focus on service catalogues, forms, workflows, approvals, and lifecycle automation. The role supports IT, HR, and ERP-related use cases and works closely with global IT stakeholders to continuously improve ServiceNow-based processes.
This role focuses on low-code, platform-native workflow automation and process orchestration rather than heavy custom development, ServiceNow architecture, or ITOM/Service Mapping.
Key Responsibilities:
- Independently design and implement ServiceNow catalog items and workflows end-to-end, from requirement clarification through production deployment.
- Design and configure Service Catalog items, Record Producers, and forms for IT and business use cases
- Build and maintain workflows using Flow Designer (conditions, subflows, approvals, task orchestration, error handling)
- Implement and enhance onboarding, offboarding, job change, and access request workflows
- Configure role-based approval logic and audit-friendly request flows
- Maintain and enhance ITSM modules (Incident, Request, Change, Knowledge)
- Create dashboards and reports to support operational and audit needs
- Follow ServiceNow best practices to minimize custom scripting
- Support UAT, production deployments, and post-go-live refinements
- Understand cross-functional business processes and translate them into scalable workflow automation.
- Collaborate with global IT, HR, ERP and other business stakeholders to gather requirements and iterate quickly
- Continuously improve request turnaround time and reduce manual effort through workflow automation.
Required Experience:
- 4–7 years of hands-on ServiceNow experience
- Strong experience with Service Catalog, Record Producers, Flow Designer, and approvals
- Solid understanding of ITSM processes (Request, Change, Incident)
- Experience configuring SLAs, notifications, and reports
- Working knowledge of ACLs and RBAC
- Light scripting experience (simple Business Rules or Script Includes) is acceptable; the role is primarily configuration and workflow driven.
- Experience supporting HR or access management workflows is a strong plus
- Ability to explain and design approval workflows and catalog structures during interviews.
Desired:
- ServiceNow CSA certification
- ITIL Foundation certification or equivalent ITSM process knowledge
- Experience with ERP access request workflows
- Exposure to manufacturing or regulated environments
- Experience working with global stakeholders
- Basic understanding of REST APIs and integration concepts
