We are currently seeking motivated and experienced Heavy Duty Mechanic to work at our Skookumchuk operation. Located in the East Kootenay region of British Columbia, Canfor’s Skookumchuck site operates a Whole Log Chipping facility that plays a key role in supporting our woodlands operations. The site processes sustainably harvested pulp logs into high‑quality wood chips, contributing to Canfor’s low‑carbon product portfolio.
This role is a full-time weekday schedule (Monday - Thursday 6:00AM - 4:30PM) Minimum of 40 hours per week.

You are an excellent trouble-shooter who has well-developed technical skills along with a Heavy Duty Mechanic Interprovincial certificate, a strong background in safe work practices and a desire to work in a team environment where shift work may be required.

The hourly rate for this position is: $50.12
