Our client, a leader in the health industry, is looking for a SAS and Analytics Platform Administrator to support their Data Science team.

The SAS and Analytics Platform Administrator provides operational enhancements, maintenance, installation and support of the different technologies used by our data scientist teams.
Such technologies include SAS, R, Python, Spark, EMR (Hadoop) running on the Windows and Linux operating system and hosted on the AWS infrastructure.

Responsibilities
1. Services
The SAS and Analytics Platform Administrator provides operational enhancements, maintenance, installation and support of the different technologies used by our data scientist teams.
Such technologies include SAS, R, Python, Spark, EMR (Hadoop) running on the
Windows and Linux operating system and hosted on the AWS infrastructure.
2. Deliverables
Provide on-going support to Analytical users.
Work with other Analytical Administrators to resolve any issue on the SAS environment.
- Work with the Analytics Techniques and Tools (ATT) team to resolve any issue on the R, Python and Spark environments.
- Manage permissions on the different analytical environments (Windows, Linux and SAS Metadata).
- Monitor logs, create SAS, R and Python programs and scripts for automation.
- Work with SAE project and other projects as required
Participate in the implementations of different technologies to support Analytical Toolkit Modernization project (ATM).
Qualifications
- Delivering SAS 9.4 products expertise, administrative and support in a Windows server environment. (3 Years minimum)
- Base SAS programming. ( 3 years)
- Experience supporting Technology Systems including configuration, patch management and optimization in a complex environment. (3 years)
- R and Python in a Linux environment. ( 3 years)
- Containers with Docker. (2 years)
- Experience with EMR or Hadoop (3 years)
- General Linux knowledge (3 years)
- Powershell Scripting (basic level )
- hands -on cloud experienece (ideally AWS) 3 years
Summary
