We are currently seeking aManager of Wetland Ecology to lead our team based out of ourEdmonton office. This is a fulltime permanent position focused onleading vegetation ecology environmental regulatory applicationsand related projects.
Project work is teambased safety driven andis completed for the energy forestry government and privatelandowners throughout the province of Alberta andBC.

PositionResponsibilities
- Thisposition is responsible for safe and efficient projectwork;
- Managethe Wetland Team and projectwork;
- Leadand manage project deliverables and working relationships withWoodlands peers and management regulators andclients;
- Providesenior direction business development and strategy development toWoodlands;
- Maintainregulatory compliance and best management practices for vegetationand wetlandsmanagement;
- Supportour wetlands mobile technology spatial data set integrity and webenableddashboard;
- Providesenior ecology review of reports and dataanalysis;
- Supportmentorship and inspire the professional development of Woodlandsemployees.
PositionRequirements andQualifications
- Knowledgeablein current best management practices and regulatory requirementsfor wetland assessments and regulatoryapplications;
- UniversityDegree or technical diploma is required in Environmental EarthScience Forestry Biology Engineering Geomatics orSurveying;
- QualifiedWetlands Science Practitioner with professional registration in oneof Alberta s Professional RegulatoryOrganizations;
- 10or more years of relevantexperience;
- Advancedtechnical writing data analysis reporting and communicationskills;
- GISand geospatial data analysis knowledge or experience is consideredas anasset;
- Previousteaching experience with data or ecological based subjects isconsidered as anasset;
- Abilityto demonstrate leadership quality safety and customer servicefocus.
