Our client, a top 5 bank, is looking for an Associate, Negotiator Trading Documentation for an 8 month contract in Toronto. This is hybrid role.
Pay rate : $30.95 - $37.83 / Hour
Hours : Monday Friday, 8 : 30am-5 : 00pm

Responsibilities
As an Associate, Negotiator Trading Documentation, your duties will include :
- Negotiating regulation-driven amendments to various industry-standard and non-standard master agreements.
- Negotiating and reviewing regulation-driven documentation.
- Ensuring compliance with Company Standing Orders for all trading documentation.
- Updating Trading Documentation systems to reflect status of negotiations and to capture information from completed agreements.
- Answering all trading documentation-related queries from the business and functions.
- Ensuring appropriate internal systems are updated and maintained accordingly.
Qualifications
- A completed undergraduate degree
- Knowledge of Capital Markets products and the trading environment
- Demonstrated knowledge of industry-standard master agreements (ISDA, GMRA, GMSLA, etc) and various counterparty types (banks, corporates, funds, etc)
- Strong understanding of risk issues
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to handle significant and diverse workload
- Adaptable and committed to continuous learning
- Active listening
- Effective time management
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Strong work ethic
Nice-to-have :
- Experience negotiating FBF Agreements and / or Deutsche Rahmenvertrag
- Law degree
