Responsibilities

• Elicit, analyze, validate and document business requirements, processes and business rules to drive business solutions
• Support technology design and re-design activities through interpretation and clarification of business requirements and processes and assess impacts of changes to other functional processes and systems
• Lead and / or assist with the creation of business cases, ROIs, and other project related documentation, as required, with input from key business stakeholders
• Investigate and analyze opportunities to help improve business efficiencies and maximize use of QuadReal Enterprise Applications
• Facilitate and / or assist with the system selection process and support subsequent related activities, including implementation and sustainment
• Create, execute, and document test cases / test scripts to validate system changes, and provide framework to support end user acceptance testing
• Coordinate, support and help business users resolve day-to-day support issues including application software and operational systems
• Assist and support project teams and business representatives throughout projects
• Create and maintain user guides, manuals and other related materials
• Create training materials and conduct training sessions

Experience and Qualifications

• A minimum of 4 years experience as a Business Analyst, ideally in a complex real estate services environment
• Experience in analysis, troubleshooting, and support of multiple enterprise applications
• Experience with Yardi’s Voyager (specifically Investment Accounting and InvestorPlus), Elevate and other applications would be an asset
• Strong understanding of the real estate business and key business processes
• Detail oriented with superior documentation skills
• Excels at problem-solving and customer relationships
• Proven ability to develop and sustain effective working relationships at all levels of an organization
• Exceptional communications skills
• Strong facilitation and collaboration skills
• Ability to apply practical business analysis and project management best practices
• Change management experience an asset
• Process re-engineering experience an asset
• Adaptable to constant change
• Ability to allocate one's time effectively, work under pressure and manage tight deadlines, multiple demands, projects and competing priorities.
