As a Medical Laboratory Technologist (MLT) I, you will be responsible for the daily processing, testing, results analysis and reporting of diagnostic samples within the laboratory department.
You will perform a variety of routine and specialized procedures in the processing of specimens used in diagnosis, treatment and research.

Required Qualifications :
Completion of an accredited Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT) program.Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Medical Laboratory Technologists of Alberta (CMLTA).
Additional Required Qualifications :
Able to work with exposure to chemicals and gloves. Chemicals may include but not limited to formalin, xylene, bleach.
Preferred Qualifications :
Anatomic Pathology experience in a clinical setting within the past 10 years. Experience within the last 2 years preferred.
Experience grossing up to level IV.Basic LIS and Microsoft computer skills.Physical effort requiring manual dexterity is required (i.
e. more than 75% of time on the job.Experience with performing and assessing special stains would be an asset.
