CLOUD ENGINEER
Location : Remote, Canada
Contract : 6 months likely to extend
Our telecom client is looking for a candidate to support their Radio Performance Management program. This individual will be monitoring network data and reporting on network performance.
This individual will also be monitoring and analyzing networking outages, understanding the why, being able to identify the issue and provide a solution to avoid future outages.
Must Have skills :
- 5+ years of cloud engineering experience
- GCP knowledge (pipelines, tools, building GKE clusters and Kubernetes clusters + maintaining them)
- BigQuery experience
- Data flow, composer, pub / sub data tools understanding
- Good understanding of Linux systems
- Cloud storage knowledge (basic)
- DevOps and Data pipelines knowledge
- Terraform experience (for automation)
Nice to Have :
- Telecom background
- GCP certification(s) or AWS
Day to Day :
- Closely working with the Architect, ETL Developer and security teams help them prepare for auditing and scanning.
- Reporting to management regularly on GPC usage, performance, code, forecasts (Important).
- BAU engineering adding pipelines, updating Terraform pipeline, etc.
