Forklift Operator

Calling all forklift operators and those with forklift experience

PLEASE NOTE

Any candidate being considered for this role must be able to support our client at their Pickering facility. This candidate must have reliable transportation to get to the facility in order to be considered.

They will allow for the new hires to be fully trained, but they are required to have valid forklift license.

The successful candidate will start work at the Pickering facility as of June 1. And will potentially be considered for permanent hire after their work performance meets expectations for a suitable period (usually around 3 months).

The rate of pay for this role will be around $20 to $22 based on experience.

Responsibilities

• Working with the receiving team to ensure the smooth transition of goods entering the facility.
• Moving products using counterbalance and Raymond reach trucks. EXPERIENCE IS MANDATORY.
• Manual labor is required as well, lifting is required up to 40 lbs.
• Most of the time will be on the forklift.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a warehouse environment, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in using counterbalance forklift and Raymond reach forklift.
• Valid certification is mandatory.
• Working efficiently within a team.
• Must have access to reliable transportation
• Attention to detail.
• Great verbal and communication skills.
