Automotive Process Supervisor
Location : Brampton (Onsite)
The Manufacturing Engineering Body-in-White (BIW) Process Supervisor will lead the development and implementation of BIW Automatic process equipment, tools and related facilities for new model assembly production.
Job Description :
- Drives continuous improvement into the processes and equipment while meeting the cost and timing requirements of the program
- Interface with multiple organizations (Product Engineering, Vehicle Assembly, Quality, etc.) to understand components / subsystems for vehicles
- Generate process sheets, assembly layouts, installation tooling as well as special manufacturing requirements
- Lead Process Failure Modes & Effects Analysis (PFMEA) activities with the platform team for new / critical processes
- Manage a team of 2-3 people and supervise the plant team activity
- Handle vendor management
- Perform root cause analysis, time tracking, efficiency, machine capability
Requirement :
- 10+ years of engineering experience in automotive manufacturing (body and white, factory)
- Project management experience
- Supplier / vendor management experience
- Proficient in CATIA
- Knowledge of Teamcenter Manufacturing and VIS Mock-up
- Proficiency in French / Chinese would be an asset
- Willing to work overtime when required
