Director, Product
Our client in the e-learning space is looking to add a Director, Product to their team. This is an exciting, fully remote opportunity to work with a highly collaborative team.
Responsibilities :
- Lead the product design team initiatives, overseeing end-to-end design processes including user research, competitive analysis, conceptual planning, design, prototyping, and wireframing.
- Collaborate with software developers, QA specialists, and project managers / owners to assess the viability and feasibility of product designs.
- Negotiate compromises or alternatives with project managers and developers to ensure alignment with project goals and constraints.
- Iterate on products based on feedback and analytics from actual usage by clients, and cross-functional departments to drive continuous improvement.
- Maintain consistency and robustness of the design system to ensure a cohesive user experience across new and legacy products.
- Conduct design reviews, workshops, and one-on-ones with direct reports to provide guidance and feedback.
- Mentor and develop designers, fostering their growth and skills development.
- Partner with Human Resources to recruit and onboard top talent, contributing to team growth and success.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to execute the product roadmap and plan for future quarters, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Collaborate on the Moodle and Expression Engine platforms to integrate and enhance features that align with the platform's objectives and user needs.
Must-Have Requirements :
- Demonstrated track record of delivering new and innovative solutions to enhance product lines and drive business success.
- Strong intuition for product interaction design and UI / UX, with a focus on creating engaging and user-friendly experiences.
- Proficiency in collaborating with designers to create graphic wireframes and interface designs, facilitating seamless handoff to UI teams.
- Experience participating in all stages of the software development lifecycle, with a solid understanding of Agile software methodologies and practices.
- Proven proficiency in leveraging Moodle LMS to augment product offerings and bolster business achievements
