Position Overview
You’re an exceptional leader with the ability to bring strategy to life. You approach your work through the lens of the customer while prioritizing the safety of employees and communities.
With an appetite for collaboration, you are someone who knows how to work effectively within a diverse group of both internal and external stakeholders.
Reporting to the regional manager, network services, as manager, vegetation programs, you’ll lead a team of professionals who provide vegetation management and engage in Right of Way and Operations activities.
Relying on your expertise, you’ll work with many areas across our business, supporting the delivery of energy to our customers, safely and reliably.

In this role, you will :
- Develop, refine, and execute vegetation management programs, while staying up to date on industry standards, changing environmental conditions, and innovative practices.
- Take the lead on guiding a diverse team of professionals to continually improve and execute vegetation management.
- Maintain fiscal responsibility by justifying, developing, and tracking designated operating budgets and business plans as well as track and report on vegetation management activities.
What it takes :
- A bachelor’s degree in a related discipline from an accredited university, plus a minimum of eight to 12 years of recent and related experience in construction or field utility work within a leadership capacity.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to engage with key external stakeholders as you ensure compliance standards are upheld while maintaining positive company relations.
- A goal-oriented mindset that includes the ability to set targets for yourself and your team, monitor progress, and actively make corrections to achieve goals.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities paired with excellent collaboration skills to engage and lead a team that guide us toward excellence.
