AmexGBT is seeking a successful candidate that will lead critical ERP and billing platforms and mid-office modernization imitative to deliver on tight integration timelines.
The Director will be expected to form a strong partnership within the team, and with the Product Owners, 3rd parties, and other engineering leads across the organization.
What You’ll Be Doing :
- Drive innovation and manage mid-back office modernization transformation initiative.
- Partner with Product / Engineering directors to deliver on the payments, billing, and Netsuite ERP platform roadmaps.
- Working with workstream leads develops the overall master plan for the transformation initiative.
- Set up a program governance structure to drive effective execution of transformation initiative.
- Produce program management deliverables like status reports, risks, issues logs, etc. for the C-suite consumption.
- Have oversight of change management efforts for the Mid back-office transformation.
- Oversees and manages priorities, budget, and continuous planning cycle activities across overall mid-back office modernization.
- Manages and coordinates operational planning efforts related to cross-business integration of the work efforts.
- Provides advice and guidance and negotiates approval of communication materials with executive management and Subject-Matter-Experts.
- Collaborate with a wide variety of stakeholders within business and technology teams to drive the change required to execute product roadmaps.
- Coach, guide, and promote the creation of high quality, clearly documented, and compliant deliverables across different workstreams.
What We’re Looking For :
- 10 + Years of extensive experience in project or program management, including planning, tracking, and delivery of complex multi-year transformation projects.
- Experience providing leadership and management oversight, including planning, organizing, and evaluating work and managing the budgetary process, including performing long-range financial planning.
- Experience in project and program management and execution expertise delivering complex work efforts working with recognized program and project methodologies.
- Experience managing offshore partner teams and their KPIs.
- Exhibits courage by taking intelligent risks and encouraging others to do so; empowers innovative approaches by motivating others to be proactive and resourceful.
- Able to apply broad business and technology understanding of internal and external trends and capabilities to ensure successful implementation of technology plans.
- Should have sold executive presence and ability to communicate a compelling vision and need for change that generates excitement, enthusiasm, and commitment to the process at all levels of stakeholders, including the C-suite.
- Practical experience in effective time management, including the ability to prioritize and organize work for engineering and product teams.
- Proven collaboration skills along with the ability to influence without authority.
- Travel domain knowledge is a plus.
Location
United States
The US national annual base salary range for this position is from $110,000 to $220,000. The national range provided includes the base salary that GBT expects to pay for the role.
Actual base salary will be based on factors including the scope and complexity of the role and the successful candidate’s relevant experience, skills, knowledge, and work location.
In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for our Annual Incentive Award plan, which rewards participants based on company and individual performance and is also eligible for awards under the company Equity Incentive Plan, which is designed to align participants' interests with those of shareholders.
