The Coeur Silvertip mine located in British Columbia, just 10 miles south of the Yukon border is seeking a Exploration Labourer : Temporary Work Placement to work in a camp-based environment, working 12 hour shifts.

The base pay for this position is $22.00 to $23.00 per hour based on skills and experiences.
Job Duties :
- Support the Exploration department with general labourer duties.
- Keep up to date inventory and location of drillholes in core yard.
- Relocate core and core boxes.
- Cut diamond drill core samples (fit-tested respirator required).
- Perform general clean-up duties.
- Perform pre-operational checks and operate equipment according to Safe Operating Procedures.
- Monitor equipment and processes and ensure equipment deficiencies and operational issues are reported clearly.
Position Requirements :
- High school diploma, Dogwood Diploma, or GED.
- Valid driver's license.
- Forklift experience considered an asset.
- Mining industry experience desired.
- Physically fit to perform the duties of the position.
Work Placement Requirements :
- Silvertip is located within Tahltan and Kaska First Nations Traditional territories and local community members and Canadian Indigenous peoples are encouraged to apply.
- Additionally, remote British Columbia and Yukon residents are encouraged to apply.
- Positions may be eligible for external subsidies and applicants may be required to co-endorse subsidy agreement.
