We’re seeking a talented, self-starting, and creative Social Media Manager to join our team! In this role, you’ll play a crucial role in the execution and management of social content for your assigned client(s).
You'll develop a deep understanding of your client's audience and tailor content that speaks to their interests. You'll identify opportunities to inspire both proactive and reactive social content that capitalizes on trends and conversations relevant to your assigned clients.
As the owner of the content calendar, you'll work closely with creative and strategy teams to ensure the highest quality content outputs.
You'll ensure all social content is deployed according to plan and oversee the proper flow of trafficking assets to media partners.
You'll be responsible for posting content on all social channels and ensuring partnerships (collaborations and others) are honoured.
This role is integrated into and has flexibility within traditional agency departments. You'll work alongside creative teams, production, strategy, account management, and have client interactions.
This integration helps maximize the agency's agility, efficiency, and effectiveness.Responsibilities : Manage and curate the social media content calendar including scheduling, posting, maintaining a consistent flow of fresh content.
Own assigned client's social channels, posting the creative assets, copy and supers as required.Oversee the content lifecycle, ensuring everything goes live as intended (captions, copy overlays, etc.
Ensure that all collaborations and other partnerships are honoured.Lead in obtaining legal and third-party approvals for responsible content, adhering to client requirements.
Identify emerging social media trends and opportunities for your clients.Continuously monitor and keep the creative, production, and content creation team informed about the latest social media app features, including overall trends, filters, trending audio, and other in-app functionalities.
Collaborate with the creative team to ensure content aligns with brand guidelines and client feedback.Collaborate with account management and strategists to ensure content aligns with client feedback, brand guidelines, and campaign goals.
Assist in analyzing social media performance using key metrics and analytics tools to identify areas for improvement, and reporting on progress.
Adapts to a flexible work schedule to accommodate occasional events and optimal posting times.Qualifications : 2+ years of proven experience managing social media accounts, preferably QSR brands.
Strong understanding of social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube and X), algorithms and best practicesA keen eye for what works on social from identifying trending formats to selecting the perfect cover photo for the feed.
High level of organizational and time management skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Creative and resourceful with a knack for storytelling.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.Highly organized and detail-oriented.Proficient in social media management tools.
Has experience working on successful social campaignsExperience with content creation and community management is considered a plus.
