Description :
The Technical Writer is responsible for writing, editing Program and Project documentation, including, Project Execution Plan, Briefing Notes, Briefing Memos, presentations and other various forms of documentation utilized by both the internal team and external clients.
Job Functions
Essential Functions
Responsible for writing and editing documentation and communication materials for clarity, conciseness with a high-level creativity, expertise and attention to detail.
Responsible for key initiatives in relation to the Quality Program, including the maintenance and annual reviews of the program Quality Plan
Provide guidance to the project management team on documentation, including correcting inconsistencies in text and aligning to Client and internal requirements
Responsible for seeing that AP and corporate style rules, both internal and external, are applied to written communication.
Create and edit program technical documents such as program execution plan (PEP), procedure guides, lessons learned and templates.
Review and update existing technical documents to see they are accurate, up-to-date, and consistent with company and client standards.
Responsible for QA / QC process adherence
Performs other duties as assigned
Complies with all policies and standards
Other duties as assigned
Requirements :
Bachelor Degree and 2 years of applicable experience Required
Applicable years of experience may be substituted for degree requirement.
Previous technical writing experience required.
Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Teams
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and adhere to schedules and meet key deadlines
High attention to detail, accuracy, and quality required
Demonstrated skill and aptitude for accurate proofreading
