Wild Ridge Landscapes is an award-winning, mid-sized landscape and winter services company looking to add a Winter Equipment Operator to our team to assist with ice and snow removal operations.

Our landscape maintenance and snow teams work together to ensure the highest standards of care are being met while we service commercial and residential properties throughout Ottawa. Job Title :

Winter Equipment Operator

Job Type :

Fixed-term contract (November 2025-April 2026)

Pay Rate : $28-$35 per hour

Main Purpose of Job :

Safely and efficiently manage an assigned snow route with the necessary equipment.

Reports to :

Regional Winter Supervisor

Snow Division Manager

Duties and Responsibilities :

• Safely operate one or more of the following equipment : tractor with plow, truck with plow, skid steer, loader
• Responsible for all winter snow clearing and related activities as assigned by Managers and Supervisors
• Responsible for completing assigned routs in and efficient and timely manner
• Ensuring that Companys high safety and quality standards are followed
• Responsible for timesheets and other required documentation to be done accurately and in a timely manner, using Company software applications such as LMN
• Heavy lifting is a requirement and a key part of the job
• Safe handling of gasoline, oils, diesel fuels, grease and other equipment related fluids etc.
• Shop work, vehicle and equipment maintenance activities as assigned
• Requires on-call availability 24-7, with 1 hour response time
• Willingness to work in all types of weather and at irregular times
