Global Public Company. Working with a fantastic global team of 14 in HR; this is an excellent opportunity for an HR Coordinator professional with strong HR Generalist skills that is keen to work for a complex global company headquartered in Vancouver.

This role is supporting their local office on all broad HR generalist duties touching upon all areas of the employee lifecycle.

We are looking for an independent self-starter who enjoys coaching managers in the business while also driving HR programs.

This role will also have the opportunity to be involved in interesting projects impacting the larger global organization so the work is varied in being administrative and hands on to interesting, complex and impactful.

What - the Role :

The Human Resources Coordinator has a key role in our global organization supporting both our Vancouver and Global HR Team in the areas of employee relations, Talent Acquisition, Talent Engagement & Development, and Talent Operations, coaching the business on people performance matters and in leading HR programs for the local employee population.

This role offers a variety of tasks ranging from HR administrative support, front line HR operations to various HR projects impacting not only the local population but broader global group.

This role is hybrid (3 days in office and 2 days remote) based in our Downtown Vancouver Office. The HR Coordinator will come with great people, organizational, and problem-solving skills along with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail and ideally be a self-starter.

Who - the Candidate :

  • University Degree or Diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in Human Resources.
  • Customer-service mindset with a strong track record of delivering exceptional customer service experience.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Critical thinker with strong organizational and project management skills
  • Ability to work well both independently as well as part of a team.
  • Takes initiative and has a willingness to take on additional responsibilities.
  • Able to manage confidential matters in a discreet manner.
  • Technically savvy with expert level computer skills, including but not limited to : Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and SharePoint.
  • Experience working with an ATS and / or HRIS (Oracle HCM is preferred).
  • Experience in payroll is an asset (ADP WorkForceNow is preferred).

Where :

Vancouver, hybrid 3 days in office.

How Much :

Competitive base salary commensurate with experience ranging from $55-75,000 depending on experience, please discuss with SWIM.

Additionally, the HR Coordinator will receive bonus, competitive vacation, benefits and PD support.
