Application Support Analyst- HYBRID

We are seeking a seasoned Application Support Analyst to join our Edmonton education client on an initial 6-month contract.

This role is ideal for someone with over 8 years of experience in application support, particularly within the financial sector.

The successful candidate will bring a deep understanding of the Office 365 suite and familiarity with Power BI, enhancing our client's ability to deliver outstanding support across a comprehensive range of financial applications.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the smooth functioning of financial applications by performing regular maintenance and updates.
• Quickly and efficiently troubleshoot and resolve application issues to minimize downtime and enhance user satisfaction.
• Provide exceptional customer service by assisting users with application-related inquiries and challenges.
• Monitor application performance continuously and implement improvements to enhance reliability and efficiency.
• Maintain accurate documentation for application processes, issues, and resolutions to support knowledge sharing and compliance.
• Assist in the training of end-users, promoting optimal use of applications across the organization.
• Participate in cross-functional projects to support new software implementations and integrations, ensuring alignment with business needs.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years in application support, particularly with financial systems.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 suite and experience with Power BI.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills to effectively interact with users and stakeholders.
• Proven organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and maintain detailed documentation.
