Robert Half is currently hiring for an experienced Application Support Analyst for our Edmonton Client. As the successful Candidate you will be accountable for providing ongoing support for the software applications in use by the Client’s Stakeholders. You will work to ensure the investigation and resolution of customer support problems, respond to problems in accordance with established policies and procedures, and assist the implementation and development staff in completion of tasks. Our client is based in the Edmonton, AB. area but this role is available for remote work permissions for eligible candidates.

Job Requirements : MUST HAVES :

• 1 + years proven working experience in a customer or technical support environment and well versed in best practices for a client facing, customer service focused application support
• Solid knowledge of PL / SQL required
• Good working experience with Oracle and Unix / Linux
• Exceptional interpersonal skills along with solid skills in listening, verbal and written communication
• Experience supporting Java and XML web applications
• Proven working knowledge in helpdesk ticketing systems, ability to accurately document all support calls in a timely manner
• Excellent analytical ability and providing quality results with a strong focus on client service
• Ability to work varying shifts in order to provide off-hours support as required
• Post-secondary education in computer systems, information systems or equivalent
