Position : Senior Superintendent
Location : Toronto
Responsibilities :
- Oversee and manage all aspects of high-rise construction projects, ensuring quality, safety, and adherence to timelines and budgets.
- Lead and mentor project teams, including site staff, subcontractors, and suppliers, to deliver successful outcomes.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to achieve project goals and objectives.
- Implement and enforce best practices in construction methods, techniques, and materials.
- Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and addressing any issues or risks proactively.
- Maintain effective communication channels with all stakeholders, providing regular updates and addressing concerns promptly.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, building codes, and safety standards.
Qualifications :
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in high-rise construction, with a focus on towers of 20 storeys or more.
- Proven track record of successfully completing multiple high-rise projects in Canada as a Superintendent.
- Extensive knowledge of construction methods, techniques, and materials relevant to high-rise developments.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire project teams.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
- Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality, and client satisfaction.
- Relevant certifications and licenses are a plus.
