As an Account manager, Group retirement savings, you work closely with two or three Client Relationship Managers (CRMs) in proactively supporting client and partner needs.
These clients have complex and diversified needs that represent significant development potential for the business unit.
You will have the opportunity to support the CRMs on a variety of requests and projects and will be included in meetings, both external and internal, to ensure the client’s expectations are met.
A solid understanding of the product and services available in Group Retirement Services is preferred. More specifically, you will be required to :
Maintain outstanding relationships between GRS and the client and advisors / consultants with the CRM
Lead client meetings as required with the strategic CRM, attend trade shows and other industry events to capitalize on networking and relationship-building opportunities
Provide support to the strategic CRM on identified requests / projects for strategic clients which will require collaborating with internal partners
To deal with individuals at multiple levels within an organization
Understand and review industry trends and stay current on new or modified products and services to help support the CRM
in identifying possible best practices for our clients
Take ownership for submitting identified requests, such as marketing or education, to support client initiatives which will include peer reviews
Participate and contribute to internal projects with the objective of bringing the client perspective to the conversation
Support the resolution of issues with the help of internal teams, inform them of potential problems and make recommendations to improve client satisfaction

What you bring to the table
Bachelor's degree in a related field
A minimum of five years of relevant experience
Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS), Canadian Securities Course (CSC) and / or Life Licence Qualification Program (LLQP).
Valid Financial Security Advisor licence in Quebec
Expert Proficiency in English due to the nature of the duties or work tools or because the position involves interactions with English-speaking partners, members and / or clients
Knowledge with project management or account management
Knowledge of pension industry including pension products and legislation
Available for travel minimal, mostly within Canada and between offices
