Facility maintenance Coordinator - Contract

The incumbent will work within our client's facilities and will be responsible for providing security, safety, and preventative / corrective maintenance to the Customer's Campus.

The on-site Facilities Coordinator position reports to the Facilities Superintendent. The working schedule is from 9 : 30am - 5 : 30pm, Monday to Friday, this is a one year contract with the possibility to become permanent in the future.

Daily responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following :

• Perform general repairs and maintenance in an office & warehouse environment.
• Prioritize and complete daily, weekly and monthly work orders.
• Assist with monitoring of contracted services to HVAC, Grounds Maintenance and Fire Equipment.
• Identifying building equipment problems and recommend corrective action.
• Liaison with contracts to obtain quotes / coordinate work.
• Provides administrative support for contracts, service agreements and reporting for environmental & administrative functions.
• Support Facility Superintendent with special projects.
• Undertakes other tasks and assignments as assigned

Requirements :

• 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role in a facility.
• Working in an Industrial building is an asset.
• Environmental studies degree is an asset.
• Communicate in English verbally and in writing fluently.
• Good Computer skills.
