Job description

We’re partnering with a fast-growing, digitally driven insurance brokerage looking to bring on a COO / Director of Operations to join their leadership team.

Reporting directly to the President, this is a high-impact role focused on scaling operations, driving efficiency, and building a high-performing, data-driven organization.

This position also offers a clear path toward executive leadership and long-term succession.

What You’ll Be Doing

Lead and execute end-to-end operational strategy across multiple business units
Own key KPIs including retention, revenue growth, and operational efficiency
Streamline processes and implement technology-driven improvements (AI, systems, automation)
Manage and mentor a small operations team
Drive capacity planning, forecasting, and resource allocation
Partner with leadership across operations, finance, and growth teams
Enhance customer experience and performance metrics
Oversee internal systems (BMS, tech stack, operational tools)

What You Bring

Proven experience in operations leadership and scaling teams or businesses
Strong data-driven mindset (KPIs, dashboards, performance tracking)
Experience with process improvement and operational efficiency
Financial acumen (budgeting, forecasting, cost control)
Comfortable with technology and systems (EPIC/BMS preferred)
Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Insurance experience is an asset, but not required
