Are you a highly organized and experienced Business Analyst with a passion for payment technology and project execution?
Merchant Solutions team is seeking a collaborative and detail-oriented Business Analyst II to join our Merchant Delivery team. This is a critical 13-month assignment, with potential for extension and conversion, supporting key customer rollouts and Point of Sale (POS) device projects. This team manages all debit and credit card transactions for merchants, from authorization through to clearing and settlement, offering a full range of flexible and reliable payment processing solutions.
The Business Analyst provides critical support to the Merchant Delivery team, ensuring the effective execution of major merchant customer rollouts and complex projects involving the company Point of Sale Devices. You will be instrumental in the successful completion of projects, measured by meeting deadlines and achieving high-quality results in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities
As a crucial member of the 8-person Merchant Delivery team, your primary responsibilities will include :
Requirements Management : Expertly identify, organize, and document complex project requirements from multiple stakeholders across the Merchant Solutions Group.
Project Execution Support : Set targets, define clear objectives, and develop detailed work-back schedules to ensure major merchant customer rollouts and POS device projects are completed on time and within scope.
Stakeholder Advocacy : Act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) / conduit to advocate for team requirements and priorities throughout the project planning and execution phases.
Process Documentation : Capture, document, and maintain accurate processes and procedures to support various operational and delivery teams within TD Merchant Solutions.
Collaboration : Work cross-functionally with internal teams (e.g., Product, Technology) to ensure all initiatives deliver an exceptional merchant experience.
Qualifications
MUST-HAVE Hard Skills :
1.) Proficient within MS Office - Excel and Project
2.) Strong requirements gathering skills
SOFT SKILLS :
1.) Strong documentation skills
2.) Strong organization skills
3.) Strong time management skills
4.) Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
NICE-TO-HAVE
1.) Vendor management experience, considered an asset
2.) Prior banking or financial institution experience
3.) Experience with "point of sale" projects
