Cash Labs is looking for a part-time Junior Full-Stack Developer to join our team. As a Junior Full-Stack Developer, you’ll gain valuable experience writing code that powers our web-based client projects, apps, and dApps, among other initiatives.

This position is most suitable for a recent graduate or current undergrad in Computer Science at an Ontario University looking to jumpstart their career in the tech industry.

Your Qualifications

• has a BA in Computer Science OR currently an undergrad in a Computer Science program
• demonstrate ability to work with Google APIs and JSON
• comfortable with an HTML / CSS / JavaScript / react.js stack
• ability to code with React.js
• able to use a MySQL database
• Fluency in python and ability to scrape and aggregate big datasets is a plus
• Knowledge of low-code / no-code tools and automation frameworks is a plus
• Ability to leverage AI integrations and automate tasks is a plus
• Any literacy in C# and / or AR / VR / XR development interest or experience is a huge plus
• Location : 33 Bloor St E
• ideally interested in culture (fashion, art, music) / AR, VR, XR and Spatial Computing / Web3 & blockchains

This is a part-time job ( 10 to 20 hours per week) most suitable for a recent graduate or undergrad currently enrolled in an Ontario University computer science program.

The applicant must demonstrate their ability to work with a full web development stack led by React.js, including JavaScript and MySQL, by completing a short coding challenge we will provide.

Applicants are also encouraged to share any personal projects they've done as examples of their work. Someone in your interview may ask you technical questions about how you built the examples you share.

Candidates must have an interest in arts and culture, as the successful applicant will be working with our client and respective teams directly alongside a project manager.

The successful applicant will be managing small projects independently while directly under the direction of a Scum Master, PM, or our Managing Director.

We use GitHub for code repos & project management alongside Slack. Our code is typically open source.

As a Junior Full Stack Web Developer, you’ll work with a Project Manager to outline the scope of your coding projects, create a timeline for development, and to review your work.

You'll be expected to track time through our management system and will need to report your work regularly, which will be subject to regular audits.
