Are you a confident leader with experience ofmanaging up to 90 colleagues We are looking for someoneto become an addition to our Castle in the Rockies and take on thelead role of an Executive Steward.

The Stewardingdepartment is responsible for maintaining the highest standards ofcleanliness and order for all of the kitchens dish areas andrelated backspaces for our dining outlets and Conference Centrespace.

Job DutiesInclude :

Leadsmanagement team and colleagues by example and ensures the workingenvironment is based upon trust integrity and open communication.

Consistently offers professional engaging and friendlyservice.

  • Assist with obtaining quotes fromvendors and help plan capital projectAFEs.
  • Ordering all china glass silverwareequipment and chemicals for all venues and productionareas.
  • Provide input to help create yearlylabor budget and set staffing levels based on budget andforecast.
  • Conduct Audits and PerformanceDiscussions for Stewarding Supervisors and Colleagues ensuring thatall Progressive Corrective Action forms are completedcorrectly.
  • In absence of Director preformhealth audits with local health inspector and Food Safety auditrepresentative while onsite.
  • Ensures allaspects of health and safety are maintained & exceededaccording to Alberta Health Services and Food Safetystandards.
  • Lead and train team on ALLSAFEhealth and safety regulations.
  • Foster anenvironment of positive cooperation within the department andbetween other departments within the hotel encouragingparticipation and input from all colleagues while promotingprofessional work habits.
  • Conduct audits andgain feedback from the employee engagement survey process and putaction plans into place and ensure goals aremet.
  • Active participation in leadershipactivities and meetings.
  • Input work orders onitems needing repair.
  • Other duties asassigned.

Qualifications :

Your Skills&Qualifications :

  • Proventrack record as an administrator trainer and developer and a teamplayer with strong communication and organizational skills with alldepartments.
  • Demonstrated ability to build astrong Stewarding team through recruitment training andorganization.
  • Proven abilities in attainingtargets in all key measurements relating to financials guestsatisfaction colleague engagement and standardscompliance.
  • Proven ability to achieve fiscaltargets through implementation of inventory controllogistics.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft WordPowerPoint and Excel applications.
  • Valid WHMISCertificate required.
  • Class 5 Drivers Licensewith a comfort level driving a company vehicle of up to 1ton. Mustprovide an updated driversabstract.
