Working the overnight shift (10 : 30 pm – 7 am, approximately)
Starting Rate : $20.58 per hour.
We recognize tenure through our compensation. Hourly rates increase after six months, and yearly to three years. At three years the pay rate for this role would be $24.30 per hour.
For this role we have seasonal & some full-time positions available which will be discussed in the interview.
Job Duties Include :
Reporting to the Chief Steward, responsibilities and essential job functions include, but are not limited to the following :
- Working overnights starting shift starts at 10 : 30pm or later
- Deep clean kitchen equipment, appliances, and surfaces (e.g., ovens, grills, fryers, hoods)
- Sanitize all workstations, prep tables, sinks, and floors
- Wash walls, ceilings, vents, and other high-touch or hard-to-reach surfaces
- Sweep, mop, and scrub floors with appropriate cleaning agents and tools
- Polish and buff all stainless steel in the areas
- Removal of all garbage, oil, and recycling left in the kitchen at the end of shift
- Ensuring floors and work areas are clean, dry, clear of hazards and obstructions
- Refill cleaning supplies and report low stock or equipment issues to supervisors
- Report maintenance needs or safety concerns immediately
- Adhere to all Fairmont Hotels & Resorts standards regarding grooming, hygiene, food safety, and
the Cultural Manual

Your Skills & Qualifications :
Previous experience an assetAbility to operate industrial machineryClass 5 driver’s license, with a comfort level of driving a 3-ton truck and navigate through tightloading bays
Current driver’s abstract, to be provided prior to your first dayWorkplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) certificationPassionate and organized about maintaining a clean safe working environmentDemonstrates initiative and the ability to work independently or as part of a teamExcellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environmentAdditional Information
