Job Description
The Regional Director, Digital Marketing is responsible for leading and executing the digital marketing strategy across a defined region. This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on oversight of campaigns, performance marketing, brand presence, and digital customer experience. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical thinking, team leadership, and a deep understanding of market dynamics.
Job Duties Include:
Strategic Leadership
- Develop and implement a comprehensive regional digital marketing strategy aligned with global objectives
- Identify growth opportunities through market trends, customer insights, and competitive analysis
- Collaborate with global and cross-functional teams to ensure brand consistency and campaign alignment
Campaign & Channel Management
- Oversee multi-channel digital campaigns including paid media, SEO/SEM, email, social media, and content marketing
- Optimize marketing funnels to improve acquisition, conversion, and retention
- Ensure localization of campaigns to reflect regional audience preferences
Performance & Analytics
- Define KPIs and track campaign performance using analytics tools
- Translate data into actionable insights and continuously optimize marketing efforts
- Manage regional marketing budgets and allocate resources effectively for maximum ROI
Team Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of digital marketing professionals
- Foster a high-performance culture focused on innovation, collaboration and accountability
- Partner with external agencies and vendors as needed
Customer Experience & Innovation
- Enhance digital customer journeys across web, mobile, and emerging platforms
- Champion experimentation and adoption of new tools, technologies, and marketing approaches
- Ensure compliance with regional data privacy and digital regulations
Qualifications
Your Skills & Qualifications:
- Extensive experience in digital marketing, with a proven track record of delivering strong results and a minimum of 5+ years of experience.
- Significant leadership experience driving high performance teams
- Proven track record of driving growth through digital channels at a regional or multi-market level
- Strong expertise in performance marketing, analytics, CRM, and marketing automation platforms
- Experience managing budgets and cross-functional teams
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
- Hospitality or Tourism background preferred but not required
