This is a remote position with travel to Toronto once per week.

Job Summary :

The Commercial Operations Analyst will play a key role in optimizing business processes, analyzing sales data, and supporting the Commercial Operations team with actionable insights as it relates to partner engagement and management.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and project management skills, attention to detail, and experience in commercial or sales operations.

Job Responsibilities :

Key responsibilities may include the following :

Data Analysis : Collect, analyze, and report on data related to partnerships, providing insights and recommendations to support decision-making.

Assist with sales forecasting, budgeting, and financial analysis to support strategic planning initiatives.

  • Research : Conduct market research to identify potential new partners and business development opportunities. Conduct market research and competitive analysis to provide insights that help shape pricing strategies and market positioning.
  • Reporting : Prepare regular reports and presentations on the status of alliances and business development activities. Monitor and assess partner sales performance and provide insights to improve productivity and profitability.
  • Coordination : Assist in coordinating meetings, communications, and activities with existing and potential partners. Provide critical project management to facilitate seamless project coordination internally within the commercial operations team and externally with partners.
  • Documentation : Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all alliance-related documents and contracts.
  • Support : Provide administrative support to the Alliance Management team, including scheduling, correspondence, and logistics.
  • Collaboration : Work closely with cross-functional teams, including R&D, Commercial, Legal, and Regulatory Affairs, to support alliance activities and ensure alignment with company objectives.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 3 years in a relevant industry (2+ years of experience in a sales & operations, commercial operations, or business analysis role).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • 3+ yrs experience with Microsoft Office environment (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, TEAMS, Outlook)
  • Ability to work effectively in a global, cross-functional environment.
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized.
  • Proactive and able to manage multiple priorities.
  • Knowledge of financial and sales modeling techniques is an asset

Working Conditions :

  • Remote based position. Must be able to go into the office in Toronto once per month (min) and once per week (max).
  • Occasional out-of-country travel to visit partners (Global) and pharma& HQ (Vienna).
  • Must be able to sit for long periods of time at a desk.
