Compensation is commensurate with experience and a full benefit package is available following the 6-month probation period.

Roles + Responsibilities :
main + main is seeking an experienced Project Coordinator who will report to the Project Manager, Construction, and will assist with the overall administration / management of all construction projects and developments.
Major roles and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following :
- Assist the Project Manager in all aspects of the projects on behalf of the Owner
- Assist in managing and directing the Construction Managers (CM)
- Handle high-level administration of projects
- Coordinate meetings, conference calls and attend same on behalf of the Owner
- Assist in the negotiation and contracting of consultants, CMs and subcontractors
- Attend and take minutes of specialized construction meetings
- Assist in review of Environmental and Geotechnical reports
- Coordinate, vet and approve CM monthly draw packages and consultant invoices
- Monitor schedules, construction budgets and contingencies
- General Construction Administration including the preparation of e-mails, key transmittals, scopes of work, LOl's, contracts, applications, budgets, permit applications, reports etc.
- Administering of all SI's, CO's, RFl's, shop drawings on behalf of the Owner, as well as all other project documentation including individual tracking sheets and file systems
- Updating and maintaining Change Orders logs for all projects
- General administration tasks to facilitate the Project Manager
- Facilitate to resolve construction issues and assist in avoiding additional project costs
- Assist Owners and other senior employees as required
The role is in Toronto, however, the applicant must be willing to travel to Ottawa periodically.
Experience + Qualifications
- Post-secondary degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a relevant field
- 2+ years of related experience in high-rise development and or general construction an asset
- Ability to read and understand construction drawings
- Proficient in MS Office, Outlook, Adobe, and Bluebeam an asset
- Excels in a team environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to resolve problems, multi-task and extrapolate
- Good knowledge of Procore
- Legally eligible to work in Canada
