As a Human Resources Business Partner working in the Talent, Culture & Leadership team at Pomerleau Construction, you will play a pivotal role in providing leadership and coaching to local leaders on recruitment, HR matters and direction on corporate HR policies and programs.

Supporting our work in building large-scale building and infrastructure projects - ranging from $ million to upwards of $1 billion - you will drive the achievement of strategic objectives through a people perspective, serving as an advocate, catalyst and champion of HR strategy, talent programs, organizational values, and culture.

What You Will Do

• Build strong, collaborative relationships with leadership and project teams to influence HR decisions.
• Continuously enhance HR services using data insights and best practices.
• Manage the full recruitment process, including sourcing and hiring top talent.
• Create and implement innovative sourcing and recruitment strategies.
• Ensure smooth onboarding and handle offboarding with professionalism and empathy.
• Foster communication between managers and employees through performance management and coaching.
• Address sensitive and confidential employee relations issues effectively.
• Develop strategies to boost team morale and job satisfaction through team building and wellness initiatives.

This role could be for you if you have

• A post-secondary degree and / or diploma in Human Resources, Industrial or labor relations or any other related discipline.
• 5+ years of human resources management experience.
• Strong employee relation experience.
• Proven track record of full-cycle recruitment success.
• Demonstrated ability to partner with multiple leaders, providing effective guidance and challenge where appropriate.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build trust with team members.
• Proficient in all areas of Canadian employment laws.

Additional Asset Include :

Certified Human Resources Professional (CRHP) designation.
