Holman is currently accepting applications for the position of Manager- Human Resources Business Partner.
- Plan, implement, and evaluate the Canadian Human Resources function and performance to ensure alignment with the strategic direction of the Company and in accordance with ethical and legal practices.
- Participate in the development of the business unit's plans and programs as a strategic partner but particularly from the perspective of the impact on our people.
- In conjunction with Corporate HR and Senior Management, translate strategic and tactical business plans into HR operational plans that comply with company policy and practices while supporting the business unit goals.
- Provide an excellent on-boarding experience for new leaders within the business - ensure that managers are trained and are properly utilizing policies and processes in a consistent and reasonable manner.
- Engage with our partners and leaders on a regular basis and support partner relation initiatives and coaching conversations.
- Direct investigations by overseeing the process, conducting thoughtful interviews and providing sound recommendations.
- In partnership with business leaders, identify competency, knowledge, and talent gaps, and support programs that provide a focus on training and development, and succession planning.
- Coach and mentor leaders within the organization on effective managerial practices, legal considerations, and partner relations
- Continually assess the competitiveness of all programs and practices against relevant companies, industries, and markets we compete against for talent.
- As a member of the Canadian Leadership Team, ensure HR initiatives and priorities are visible and highlighted.
- Support policy development within appropriate authority levels or recommend policy changes to Corporate HR when appropriate.
- Monitor regulatory actions that may impact the attraction, motivation, development and retention of our people
- Lead and develop the Canadian HRBP team.
- Collaborate and partner within Global HR Centers of Excellence.
Relevant Work Experience :
- Seven to ten years in human resources with three to five of those years in a progressive, managerial-level. Multi-site experience required
- Advanced understanding of best practices in recruiting, compensation, benefits, training, organizational development, employee relations and policy preparation
- Advanced understanding of Canadian employment law
- US HR experience a plus
Education and / or Training :
- Undergraduate degree in Human Resources or Business required
- Graduate level degree in Human Resources or related field preferred
- CHRP (or equivalent) certification strongly preferred

Pay :
We offer competitive wages that are commensurate with job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training, and geographic location, starting in the range of $127,450.
00 - $200,730.00 CAD annually for full time employees. The annual compensation range is comprised of base pay and bonus earnings.
