Auxiliary Plumbing Instructor
On-call / as-required
Duties : Reporting to the Department Head for Trades Programs, the College is looking to create an on-call list to instruct within our Plumber Apprenticeship & Related Programs. Please go to our Plumber Program Information page for an overview of the program and course content.
Qualifications : Red Seal Journeyperson status as a Plumber with a minimum of five years of experience working in the plumbing industry is required. Previous teaching experience with adults and experience working with apprentices are considered assets.
As an employee of College of the Rockies, the successful candidate is expected to be a lifelong learner who continues to develop his / her skills to help the College meet the needs of our students and our other valued clients.
Successful candidates may be required to complete a Criminal Record Check.
As per the Faculty Salary Schedule and depending on qualifications, instructional and related work experience, the salary for auxiliary employees is $44.89 to $60.26 per hour (this includes 16% in lieu of benefits and vacation).
