Responsible for Daily Technical Operations including Application Management and Support for all Nasdaq provided services such as web (IIS, Apache), Azure Cloud, AWS cloud, content management, monitoring.
this includes 24 / 7 Operations and Application Support, managing Incidents for both internal and external customers, installing application updates and maintaining operational documentation and procedures.
As a System Administrator, your focus will be maintenance, configuration, of Nasdaq’s infrastructure. Besides working closely with your colleagues, you will also work closely with Nasdaq teams in other countries.
Functional knowledge of computer networks and architecture, Microsoft Windows Server, Microsoft IIS, web systems configuration and administration, Linux OS, Apache, network component systems, SFTP, SSH, Bash / Power Shell scripting, cyber security practices, SQL database management, GitHub, Citrix, software monitoring systems such as Open View, Nagios, Data Dog.
Optional Technologies : cloud computing platforms such as Amazon Web Service (AWS), Microsoft Azure, content delivery network (CDN) systems such as Akamai and Acquia, open-source software infrastructure tools such as Dockers, Kubernetes, Terraform
Candidate Requirements : B.S. degree in Computer Science or another equivalent IT related B.S. major.

- Education Required : Bachelors or Masters’ Degree in Computer Science, MIS or other related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
- Experience Required : At least 10 years
- Special Qualifications : More than one Systems Administration Certification such as MCSA, Red Hat, Sun, etc.
