The Opportunity
As an Applications Specialist and a valued member of the Technology Department, you will be involved in numerous areas of technology including applications support and development, troubleshooting, project delivery and functional and technical analysis. In addition, you will be responsible for :
- Working in a team environment in supporting, upgrading and enhancing various Human Resource Management System and Financial Management System components while following corporate technology and cyber security standards.
- Leading the rollout of various software enhancement and upgrades, coordinating with IT teams and stakeholders to configure, customize, and deploy solutions according to project timelines and requirements. Ensuring smooth transition from development to production environments.
- Providing ongoing maintenance, support, and troubleshooting for deployed software applications. This includes monitoring system performance, addressing user inquiries and issues, and implementing updates or enhancements to optimize system reliability and usability.
- Developing detailed design documentation outlining functional and system requirements. Ability to design and develop complex application reports and data queries. Ability to work effectively with software vendors to troubleshoot issues and apply system patches.
